These are the kinds of projects we develop and fund, usually with the help of collaborators and sponsors.
A) SOCIAL INNOVATION EXPERIMENTS:
All the projects we do have an element of experimentation in the social, economic, educational, industrial and even political sense, explored through the possibilities that art and design offer. We’re interested in creating new formats in cultural practice that are applicable within and without the cultural world.
B) CULTURAL PROGRAMMING
We program conferences, exhibits, events and installations for other organizations that have a definite space or regular venue. We also create temporary alternative spaces as needed.
C) EDITORIAL PROJECTS
Because we love books, and because we value them as elemental tools for education, we have decided that all of our projects, as they are research initiatives, should be presented in printed format upon their completion. While we work on that, we’re doing books and publishing small experiments for/with other people.
D) POCKET INITIATIVES
Sometimes we get a little bit of money from members of our network. They are private individuals who want to help but don’t have access to big budgets. We make sure their money goes to good use. This part of our activity is a result of the overpricing that goes on in all modalities of cultural production. We want to show that good things can happen even with the most humble of budgets. We do these things out of the goodness of our hearts and in our free time and this part of our activity is not available to foundations, companies or public sector entities. We expect everyone to pull their weight, within their weight class.
